Staleness
It's been a while.
World Cup came and went. It brought the champs out of Italy. I can't contend with that. They were excellent. Goodbye Zizou. It's sad to see you leave on an unpleasant note. But hey, u could only get what you asked for. So the next world cup would be held in South Africa. Another continent altogether and a whole new game to look out for. Speaking of which, my sis is already saving up for a trip to S. Africa so she could catch the next world cup game, without having to squint through pixelated motions. Now hows that for an ambition. I wanna start saving up for that too. But you know me, always wanting to a larger stride ahead of others, I'm a culture vulture who feeds on differences to survive. Now that means, i have four years to make friends with peeps living around South Africa. :) If you are hot, have a six pack, preferably male and willing to escort some chicks from the east in the year 2010, just holler back aight. Well, parents included.
Moving on.
I was too caught up with worldly rigours that I actually forgot to announce my entrance into adulthood. Ha! I'm 21 already. Nice. Actually, that doesnt quite make me anymore adult than i ever was. It just means that, i could watch those M21 shows they have without a sense of guilt whatsoever. Right. Boring.

Stale.
Seen that word before, used it ever so frequently, yet, there is something deeper to it than merely making a bread go bad. When bread become mouldy and rather unappealing to the taste buds and noses, we call it stale. Guess its stale as well when, people's sense of humour become mouldy and rather unappealing to buds. Its really a word that can practically sum up all of these sudden bouts of depressing activities that seem to take form immediately after a peak of one's excitement. Yeah, its the conclusive stage of FUN, thus brings you back down to where you started. Thats stale. The inevitable circumstance of euphoric cycle. Staleness is a fact of life. You can't avoid it nor can you stop it from happening. The least you can do is let it happen and stay low when it does. Coz remember, it is after all a cycle. Life is all about cycles. Pregnancy, menstruation, ageing, life-blood, puberty even Karma. When friendship changes, its really just going stale. When suddenly, your boyfriend becomes the reason behind that grimace, you know the relationship is heading stale-zone. When you just gradually lose interest in that cropped top you so loved, you know its just turning stale. Fret not, perhaps next years summer wear might bring it back in trend again. See, its all about subtle nuances in our surroundings. That, i say is another way of overcoming staleness. As the product of my environment, I feed on changes. Changes drives me. I rot in staleness without it. Anyways, i was merely subjecting my annoyance with the turk who's probably gonna get me drowned in hot soup (VERY figuratively) to the word stale. Stale is what we both have now. He hates me because i love Cannavarro. Dude I love Cannavarro with or without your hate. Whatever bro.
Now lets just look at how much i can crap on just about a word. Geeez. I am seriously full of shit. When i was in secondary school, I used to tell myself that, when i come to the point where i could harp endlessly on something when given only a word, it really shows i'm NUTZ. Here i am... talking about staleness and how i thrive on changes. Of course, back then i never did picture myself harping on words and throwing it in a fifth dimension they call the internet and merely contributing to cyber wastes. *shakes head in despair*
Whats the world coming to, the REAL world that is, the tangible one.

I've been thinking, if our clothes were made a measure of the number of friends we have, I'd be stark naked apart from the tiny loin cloth I'd have managed.

---Guess thats the only two people I'm willing to invest my love on...
