Zoo-day!

Image
Magnifico! An abnormally bump-free day. We went to the zoo. I'm a fervent fan of Zoos'. The inhabitants of the respective Zoos in different countries may not reflect the kind of people you have on that land. However, the way a zoo is constructed and its organisation, in a way, gives a clear depiction of the country's administration. It's a habit of mine to first visit the Zoo (if available) in a foreign land before exploring the cultures and lifestyles of the people present in that particular land. You may not be able to tell what the people of the land are like... But when you realise how easy it is to end up going in rounds and getting lost in the zoo, you know what the city you are in is like. When you go to the zoo and realise all foreigners pay different entry fees depending on where you are from, you know what the city is like. When you go to the zoo and you realise its so darn hard to find the damn toilet, pal, you know what the city is like. The Zoo is also a sa...

Our day started at Bugis, where we took a long walk to our very own Little India. As usual, you should know by now how reliant we are, on the public transport. Well on the train there was this bunch of young punjabi kids. Clad in mini turbans and all. They looked so damn adorable. And the tiniest of the three boys looked so much like the one in Kuch kuch hota hai. You know, the one that pretended to be dumb but wasn't, the who supposedly could play the violin everytime Shah Rukh decided it was time to dance. Yeah that one. I couldn't help but wonder if he would dance and sing for me like he supposedly did in the movie should i ask him to. Hehe. I like the punjabis in Singapore. I like the fact that despite all the modern-ness that seems to penetrate through the different layers of society, they are still able to hold on tight to their customs. Parents sent their kids to punjabi schools where they meet other kids like themselves. How can you ever stray away from traditions with ...

I-wishes

I like today. I rushed to school like a mad dog only to be told that I was an hour early. Dude, I friggen dashed out of my main door!...ah silly me. Nevertheless, it was a good day. I chilled with Vern after school. She had sooo much to talk about. Her trip to egypt. Her business at school. Her singlehood. Actually, OUR singlehood. Our friends are already exchanging partners like the moon and the sun exchange places! Miserable and unwanted, pffrrtt. Thank god for families. I-WISHES (1) I wish for a shoulder i could cry on, sleep on, drool on. (2) I wish for world peace. Truly! No bush, No Saddam, No Blair, No silly americans who vote for bush and for their sons, brothers, boyfriends and husbands to be sent away, yet again. (3) I wish for snow in Singapore. (4) I wish for an eventual strike at toto, even though i dont play it. Let me help you god... Maybe you can allow me to accidently find a piece of toto paper and voila...I stirked it big! you can be more creative la. Im sure you ...

One matured entry.

Its hard to keep up with blogging. This is especialy true on days when i feel totally unarticulate. I've been pretty much that for the last few days. I hope to move on though. It sucks knowing that i have so much to say, but inadequate words to paint it out. Bleargh. This always happens to me. Nevermind that. School's been ok. OK, meaning the same. THE SAME, meaning its still as sucky as it ever was. Still dishing out the same old shit it always does. You know what, what happens in school, stays in school. School is an infested ground of malignant descendents of Judas. And then i went blank again... Screw this. I'll hit back when i locate my lost senses. Boo hoo hoo!

3-girls and a piece of land.

An all round splendid weekend it was. Esplanade was somewhat enlightening. I never thought a place like that could unwind you to the fullest. I think perhaps its due to the presence of the the two most adored being in my life. You know who you are. If pictures could speak, then let them speak... "Journey into the unknown..." ritee "You know who you are..." "Majestic aint it?" "Mesmerised..."

All in a day's work.

I got all my tutorial slots. Heh. Some i like, others i dont, but happy i am, now. Yes, my Thursdays are free. hehe. School was alright. Finally, for once i actually understood the lecture. Ha! In the train is where you get the most exotic species of human beings. This is especially so in singapore. You get the i'm-staring-at-the-window-not-you kinda people, the everyone-stinks-but-me, the scrutinisers, the i-hate-you-coz-you-have-a-seat-and-i-dont, the i-love-making-out-in-trains kinda people... you know what, the list goes on babe. I'm-staring-at-the-window These are the kinds who would look straight at you without batting an eye. They wont shift their eyes away even when you have caught them staring at you. Bloody hell. They make you feel like you've done something wrong instead. But really, its not you, its THEM! Remedy? Well, you can try winking at them. It usually works. Or you can take the more subtle aproach, smile. They'd just look away. Ha! Everyone-stinks-but...

Yanws...Morning.

Sheer Emptiness

Jaded as can be.

I am exhausted. I am tired. I am sick. Sick of everything. I need a day to recuperate and refuel myself, ok perhaps two days would be better. So i've decided not to go to school tomorrow and the day after. I didnt get all my tutorial slots. I vow to keep my thursdays free. I am not going to let one silly tutorial on thursdays ruin my life. Its gotta move. Fucker. I am drained even before school really start kicking. Devoid of any energy to move, weak i am. I think this is also partly due to the lack of food. I've lost my appetite for food these days. I'm a mess. *Breathe* Well, theres nothing a two day bumming ritual can't cure. I will hibernate. Hibernate and allow nature refuel my existance. That means sleep...zzz... I don't wanna have eyebags like the ones we saw on the bus today. Right Sherlin? That was gross. Oh...Happy Birthday Hidayah! ;) -Getting old arent u-

Moodless

The concluding phase to textbook-purchase is finally over. Yay. Last night was fun. Good food. Good people. Good time. I love my family to bits. Despite the times when i'd curse and swear my heart out at them, i still love them. Getting a little emo now aren't i? There's so much to do, but so few starting points. This is not at all like a 100m sprint. I think its more like a 10000km walk. Where you start at your own pace. Yeah you devise your own strategy and then you are greeted by lil pit stops along the way. Lil sweet sinful pit stops. Do you stop and submit or proceed? Wait... i've not even started yet. Blaergh...Whatever ah...no mood

My fire's out.

Happy Birthday Alsofiena! A sister's birthday. A nostalgic moment for me. What was i like at her age? ... Can't remember and don't wanna remember. Nonetheless, i'm happy for her as she journey into teenagehood. Good luck! Ok me now. I'm angry with lil midgets. I hate kids and thats official. I was with my parents yesterday, we were doing our usual present-hunting for my sis. So after much walking we took a break and grab some snacks at the nearby Qi-ji kopitiam or whatever its called. While we were seatd, a family with two midgets at hand walked pass. The lil female midget had a tradiotional chinese costume on, which i at first thought was extremely cute. So i smiled. Ugly as i am, i did smile at that tiny thing. Now thats something i will regret till the day i die. Coz now she turned against me, yelling while tightly clutching at her dad, "My Daddy! This my Daddy!!" :-O Ok... back up small shit... What? Do i fucking look like a slut who'd even give t...

The much awaited smile.

The Sun was out today. Out and darn happy I'm sure. Smiled, shined and blazed away was all it did today. I got to put on my shades again and to school I went. I'm a frequent commuter who sits on the train from the east of Singapore right through to the west, Clementi to be precise. Blame it on vanity that runs in my blood, but it is quite a religious practice to constantly glance up at my reflection on the window ahead. Just to check if everything's intact. But today, the head that replace the reflection of my head belonged to Fiona Xie. That's right, all stretched out for some silly Osim ad. Trust me, being the reflection-addict that I am, the 45 minute journey to school was a pain. I was restless, fidgety, lost, like a druggie struggling to survive in the absence of coke(cocaine). After a while it got pissingly irritating, I did contemplate ripping that damn advertisement apart. But I didn't want the little kids to freak out nor do I wanna be the cause of a ...

Someone's crying so hard.

Rainy days irk me. It's like someone big is crying so much and pouring all his pain out at us all. It makes me wanna help but I can't. The rain hasn't stopped since the wee morning hours. I woke up in utter darkness today and thought that for once i rose early and way before sunrise while at it. But no, it was 10am and the sun was hidden behind the mighty dark clouds. Disappointed i was, i headed back to bed. My second day in school was borderline good. Though my motivation to attend school regularly is crushed. Perhaps its time i source out for better influences. One year and a semester, thats how long it took for me to realise that the potato salad sold in school is halal. How shameful is that. All those days of side-glancing it and suppressing my cravings for it. Heh, tomorrow shall be the day. I will finally give in! Bliss! I prejudge people before loving them. I do. Thats just the way that I am. Especially when guys happen to be the centre of focus. Virginity is essent...

This was me before my reincarnation.

We meet again.

Never thought i'd be back here again. I used to think how silly blogging is, why? why would anyone wanna just take their emotions out and tap tap tap away on their keyboard? Bitch like theres no tomorrow... Speak like everyones actually listening to you... Yeah, blogging is pointless, stupid, at times painful, sometimes quite addictive i should say... All the ingredients that made me shut my damn blog down the last time i was here. Heh But HERE i am again... WHY? why am i doing this??? err...i believe its peer pressure. Both my sisters, younger than me i must say, have personal blogs and i dont wanna be beaten by them, technology wise. Then again, i think i need more convincing than just that. Damn... perhaps its just this inner-suppressed-other half of me thats burning to surface again and blogging unlocks her...
