Abnormality reigns.
H5N1 Virus is haunting the earth yet again. My dad just ordered the household to go stock up on eggs. I'm sure he'd want us to stock up on chickens too if they won't turn bad so quickly. I hear of so much slaughtering and slaying around the world. Pretty little white swans in the french lakes are culled, fluttery chickens in the nigerian bushes are massively killed, backyard chickens and rooftop coops were thrust into the labs for ruthless examinations, ultimately terminated.
They had a little more than a hundred years to figure out a potent antiviral vaccine that perhaps could somehow overcome the virus and maybe even denature two of its most active proteins. But no, they had other plans. Not even a cure for aids or a decent sense to ensure medications for HIV-infected patients were accessible. Nay, instead we are presented with a variety of pseudo-viagra medications to enhance ones sexual desire. A whole lot of newly acquired procedures to alter ones body, botox, silicone implants, fat implants, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction bla bla bla. A scheming plan that capitalises on one's flaw. "Who cares if aids hasn't got a cure? Cancer? What cancer? We need to make people have sex! So we can heavily exploit from it. Beauty=sex=money!" The perfect retirement plan for plastic surgeons and staffs of pharmaceutical companies.
So now we kill the animals. Perhaps later we will start killing each other. So in the near future euthanasia won't be that much of a problem. I hope i die before that.
