Shaken.
I saw a motorcycle went out of control and hit a curb today. Interestingly, it left me shivering on the inside and a little dazed. Disoriented as well. As though i was the one on the bike. Heh.
Fret not, the rider survived even managed to pull his bike off the road. There are times when something not so rare happens before you. You read a lot about it in the papers, hear it loads of times on the news and even have people telling you about it. You become desensatised by the media's attention on it. Buttt there is just that one moment, that one tiny second, when it happens right before your goddamn eyes, sends you crashing over. When you know you've had had enough of it. That its after all real and not just a mere hearsay. Scared the beat jesus outta me. Thereafter, i was just the wandering zombie that i was five years ago. Those times when i thought gothism was my calling. Nonetheless, i plead with you people if you want a vehicle thats capable of transporting you around, go for a car. Or at least something capable of protecting you from the rain and accidental swerves and lost of control. Dont need to ride yourself to hell or heaven, whichevers more appropriate.
What do you do when a guy asks you if you would marry him in three years time?
(a) Laugh and compliment his attempt at a joke.
(b) Why three years? Why not now? Lets elope!
(c) :) I'm Sure you will find better girls out there my dear. :) You deserve the best. :)
(d) Leave the conversation and go to bed.
Oh by the way, its virtual. Heh. Yeah im too pathetic to get a real boyfriend. I get my thrills online. It's a lot less messy. And better still, i can surf porn, read up at wikipedia, check my email, snoop around on friendster and even date all at the same time. All that in my pyjamas, mind you!
Anyways as you would have guessed it didnt turn out well with this turk of a guy. Guess its time i moved on to the next continent. Lets see... First there was that aussie, then, that Sri Lankan Brit who was so fond of his newly acquired british accent, following that there was that Dubai guy. Thereafter i remember that egyptian manager whose age is a good decade older than i am, though i'm not too sure if he is still alive, coz you know, he works/ed at some hotel at Sharm el Sheikh. Then there was the swiss cheese, all my friends took a liking. Oh yeah, and then there was that french dude who studies in korea! Yaaa...Then came the morrocans! Bleargh about four of them. And none of them speaks good english. Only french. Pffrrtt. Just made his way into my list is this Turk. Heh... Now now, which continent should i target on ey? America? Heh... Lazy ah.
Well, we'll see whats up for me next. Till then, hear me bitch...
